What makes us unique
Based in Freedom
Since its founding, the Free Methodist Church desired that all people would live free (not as slaves & to live in harmony together), be free to worship (not pay for seats), and have the freedom to worship God (open to the moving and work of the Holy Spirit)!

Our prayer is that we can be a place where people continue to be set free from sin and made alive in Jesus. When we are in HIM, then we are reallly free to become all that He wants us to be.

Come grow with us in the Freedom that Christ gives!

Our History
Founded in the woods behind Hoover's Dairy, our surprisingly local history is humble and endearing in nature.

About 1860—a group of people led by B.T. Roberts gathered to consider what to do. In a time of segregation by race and wealth within churches, they sought to have gatherings were open to all people—free of discrimination—as God intended. This small, but revolutionary group of people became the beginning of what is a worldwide church today—the Free Methodist Church.
